READING/SCIENCE~ We will continue to work with the essential question "How is each event in history unique?" We will be reading expository text. Some skills we will continue working on will be main idea and detail and summarizing as well as sequencing and suffixes. The children should be reading for 20 minutes each night.
GRAMMAR~ We will be working on combining sentences with verbs.
MATH~ We will complete chapter 7 about division. Our assessment will be on Wednesday, March 22. We will continue our timed multiplication quizzes each Friday. This weeks facts will include 0-10. The children should be studying their flash cards each night for about 10-15 minutes. Fluency in multiplication is very important.
RELIGION ~ We will be discussing the season of Lent as well as continuing chapter 5 which discussing the beginning of the early Church.
SCIENCE ~ This week we will continue our study of animals. We will recognize and understand the different life cycles of animals.
SOCIAL STUDIES~ We will begin chapter 3 continuing communities.
