Have a very happy and blessed Easter.

READING/ELA/HEALTH~ Our essential question is "How can you use what you know to help others?" The genre that we will be reading is realistic fiction. Some comprehension skills that we will be working on are understanding the author's point of view and asking and answering questions while reading. We will also review using prefixes.

GRAMMAR~ We will be learning about contractions with not.

MATH~ Our chapter 9 assessment will be on Tuesday, April 16.
The children need to continue to memorize the multiplication facts. Please use the flash cards to practice. There are also games to play in the resource section of my webpage.

RELIGION~.We will be reading the story of Holy Week and understanding the events of the Triduum. We will be going to see the sixth grade's performance of the Stations on the Cross on Wednesday afternoon

SOCIAL STUDIES~ We will be continuing chapter 3 about people in new communities. Students will understand the reasons people move to new places and how we share our cultures and customs with others.

SCIENCE~ We will continue our study of animal adaptations.
